The
National Christmas Tree
is a huge deal. Every year, there is a new theme and the President holds
the Lighting Ceremony.
The first photo is from 2004 or 2005. It's blurry because we took it from far away (it was bitter cold and I didn't want to go closer, so I blew it up). The second photo is from 2002 and is lousy as the camera wasn't that good. I don't have a hard copy to scan... you might note the Menorah in the photo as well, something the white house now adds to help mark the Festival of Chanukah eight-day Jewish holiday.
