Federal Trade Commission, Washington, DC

The FTC deals with issues that touch the economic life of every American. It is the only federal agency with both consumer protection and competition jurisdiction in broad sectors of the economy. The FTC pursues vigorous and effective law enforcement; advances consumers’ interests by sharing its expertise with federal and state legislatures and U.S. and international government agencies; develops policy and research tools through hearings, workshops, and conferences; and creates practical and plain-language educational programs for consumers and businesses in a global marketplace with constantly changing technologies.

The building is located at: 600 Pennsylvania Avenue, N.W., Washington, D.C. 20580.  I don't believe there are tours inside the building. You'd have to ask, but it's basically just a very large office building, but I am sure some paintings or other works of art may be inside, as it seems there are famous artworks in just about every building in DC.

The Commission hosts a variety of events that are open to the public, including conferences and workshops designed to bring together government and business leaders to discuss timely topics in competition and consumer protection policy, and formal hearings. The Bureau of Economics hosts events to share its expertise and stimulate discussion on important topics in economics.
