Harbor Pavilion Portsmouth, VA with "The Monkees"
I apparently did not take photos from the show. I can't find any. If I do find some, I'll scan and post later. This was the opening act for the Monkees. The group above is a teeny bopper group and quite immature (one boy was chasing some girl in the parking lot; their music is young too), but still showed some promise. Though they only do a few bars and don't seem diverse musically yet. The drummer was quite good. We did not obtain any autographs either and it's of no consequence; they never made it big and split up click the name above (there's no official site) and you'll read their story, but here is a shot of what they looked like:
